Dwayne Koch
As Founder & Managing Partner of Thriving in Change Consulting, Dwayne Koch brings more than 25 years of consulting experience to his practice. He has consulted to C-suite and senior executives, multi-national corporations, entrepreneurial ventures and government agencies.
For the past 25 years, Dwayne has focused on understanding the dynamics of complex changes in organization. In addition to unmatched talent in executive coaching and team development expertise, he has designed a systematic and practical approach to predicting, managing and accelerating the implementation rate of large systems change. His frequent application of this expertise to cultural changes, mergers and acquisitions, business transformations have led to his popularity as a consultant amongst senior executives and their teams around the world.
In addition, Dwayne has developed several tools and assessments to help increase organizational readiness for change. His practical approach to his consulting practice has a lasting impact while activating people, teams and leaders to deliver today and grow for the future.
Dwayne holds a Masters in Business Administration from Athabasca University, as well as, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Criminology from the University of Manitoba. Dwayne is married to Audra and has two children Aiden and Mackenzie. When he’s not assisting clients, Dwayne enjoys playing ice hockey and is an avid golfer.

Lisa Stefanac is a project partner at Thriving in Change Consulting. For over 20 years, she has focused on leadership development, team effectiveness, and talent management for clients ranging from high growth startups to four of the largest companies in the world and across several industries including oil & gas, technology, consumer, and digital health. She is co-founder of Assessing in Action, a leadership and team effectiveness tools company.
Lisa is also clinical associate professor of leadership at Chicago Booth School of Business. She teaches Interpersonal Dynamics and Team Dynamics to Chicago Booth MBA students and alums. She has also worked at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she facilitated interpersonal dynamics and engaged as a coach and mentor.
Lisa has an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She received the university’s Global Awareness Award and the Herman Family Fellowship, an award recognizing high-potential women entrepreneurs. Lisa is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with a BA in English literature.

Jim Tebbe is a project partner at Thriving in Change Consulting. After an impressive career at Royal Dutch Shell, Jim has shifted his focus as a freelance organization effectiveness consultant. Jim has a strong passion in personal and team development, dialogue, and organizational learning, which have been key drivers in his career. Jim stresses improving the performance of senior leadership teams via action learning interventions: working with real teams on real issues in real-time. Jim also supports leaders in coaching partnerships by exploring with the client how the patterns of the past and an assessment of the current state can be leveraged to influence a productive future.
Past clients include Austin Foam Plastics, Shell Alaska, Ecolab, Austin Rodeo, Shell Trading, NRG, Shell Finance, Stavis, and Cohen Financial. Currently, Jim is supporting the Professional Standards and Accreditation Board (PSAB) advising the Association of Professional Dialogue (AoPD). The goal is to define a framework and general criteria for Dialogic Intervention. Jim leverages his years of experience to work with senior leadership teams and individual leaders in various industries, with a special focus on leadership and team performance.
Jim holds two degrees including a B.S. Engineering Physics and M.S. Physics
Jim and his wife Dale married in 1989 and have two adult children. When not traveling, Jim partners with his wife in antique furniture restoration.
